
The Sims 3 by default can only recognize cards from gtx 600 series and under if you have any card(s) higher than the gtx 700 series you will need to use the The Sims 3 GPU Add-on Support TOOL to add your GPU to the games list of known GPU cards. Making the game recognize newer GPU models will benefit in less lag spikes when using CREATE A SYLE/IN GAME UI and general GAMEPLAY performance since the game will use the newer cards benefits since its knows the cards model.
